Saturn in Scorpio Sidereal
Shani in Vrishchika: indifference to work, hardness, little pity; Mesha has its own reading.
Neither zeal nor tenderness here: the reading speaks of indifference to work and of hardness. That is what Shani gives in Vrishchika, the sidereal Scorpio ruled by Mangala. Little pity. You may recognize those days when the file sleeps on your desk and other people's complaints go right through you. Mesha, Mangala's other sign, reads separately.
Mangala rules this sign. To read the sign itself, open Scorpio sidereal; to read all about Shani, see the Shani guide.

Why is my Saturn not in the same sign as in Western astrology?
The sidereal zodiac of Vedic astrology is shifted by about 24 degrees from the zodiac of the seasons: most planets move back one sign. Calculating your Vedic chart gives you their true place.
