Saturn in Aries Sidereal
Shani in Mesha, its debilitation: carefully styled dress, wandering, friends absent or distant; Vrishchika reads separately.
Coquetry is not what you expect from Shani. Yet it fits Shani in Mesha, the sidereal Aries, its sign of debilitation: a carefully cultivated appearance. You move from one place to another. On friendship there are two possibilities: either you have no friends, or life separates you from them. These are not the same, and anyone who has moved three times knows the difference. Vrishchika, Mangala's other sign, has its own reading. Remember that your Shani most often sits in a different sign in Western astrology than in the sidereal zodiac.
Mangala rules this sign. To read the sign itself, open Aries sidereal; to read all about Shani, see the Shani guide.
Frequently asked questions

Shani in Mesha, its debilitation: carefully styled dress, wandering, friends absent or distant; Vrishchika reads separately.
Why is my Saturn not in the same sign as in Western astrology?
The sidereal zodiac of Vedic astrology is shifted by about 24 degrees from the zodiac of the seasons: most planets move back one sign. Calculating your Vedic chart gives you their true place.
