Sun in Aries Sidereal
Surya exalted in Mesha: a settled life at the exact degree, an itinerant one elsewhere, renown and competence, link to weapons; conditional strength.
A single degree separates settling down from traveling here. Surya is exalted in Mesha, the sidereal Aries, and two cases arise. At the exact degree of exaltation, life settles in one place with great renown. Elsewhere in the sign it is nomadic. In both cases the reading shows competence and growing renown. A link with weapons is added: you carry them, or armed men surround you.
Keep in mind that this sidereal sign most often differs from your Western Sun sign, because the two zodiacs are offset. None of this takes full effect without the combined strength of the planet, its sign and the lord of that sign.
Mangala rules this sign. To read the sign itself, open Aries sidereal; to read all about Surya, see the Surya guide.
